Description
Lt. Robinson was a combat soldier who served in the 424th Infantry Regiment, 106th Division. He was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds suffered on the first day of the Battle of the Bulge, December 16, 1944. Following treatment, he fought in three more major battles before the German surrender in May 1945 and was awarded among other accolades, a Bronze Star for meritorious service.
