    Photographs of the store at 846 East Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan, 1949.    At that time, it was the home of the  J. R.Wylie Sales, Appliance Store.   The building just west of Wylie's Sale was Timbers Restaurant, and a portion of it is visible.

    This building was later home to A & P Food Store (1961), then Consumer's Discount Store, Dunham Sports, Shoe Store, and  Family Video Store.

    This is a photograph of the storefront at 116 West Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan, 1949.  The store was Richards Electric and was later renamed as D. R. Electric.   

    To the left is Spaguolo's Candy and Ice Cream Store and to the right is Eager's Restaurant.

    In view are the businesses from 110 to 114 West Grand River Avenu, inclduing ,Eagers Restaurant, Livington Drugs, Charles Itsell Men and Boys Wear.   On the street is parked an old Ford Falcon.

    This is a photograph of the 200 block of East Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan, and includes the following building numbers: 209-211-213-215.

    The photograph appears to have been from the 1940's-1950's.  In 1952, 209 was Cozy Restaurant, 211 was Dairy Lunch, 213 was Udo's Bar, and 215 was Citzen's Mutual Printing Department.

    The date of the photograph is unknown.

    This is a photograph of the service station and bus stop at Six Corners, Howell Township, Livingston, Michigan.   There is a sign "Eat" visible.

    Six Corners was name given to the intersection of West Grand River Avenue, Fleming Road, and Warner Road, which was about 4 miles west of the city of Howell.

    This was also called Stone Service Station or Murphy's.

    The date of this photograph is unknown.
