The first courthouse in Livingston County Michigan. The Greek Revival structure was completed in the autumn of 1847 at a cost of $5,928.
The first floor served as the sheriff's residence and jail, the second floor housed courtrooms, judge's chambers, and jury room.
The west annex was built in 1849.
The building was razed in 1889. -

The school later became the home of Howell Township Hall, 3525 Byron Road, Howell. -

One room school house located in Section 27, on North Fowlerville Rd at Sherwood Rd near Fowlereville, Michigan.
Built 1882. Restored in early 1980's. Burned 2005.
