  • These photographs are of the Fairlawn Farm, also known as the Reed and Knowles Stock farm.  They bred and raised Holstein cattle in the early 1900's.  The farm was located in Howell and Osceola Townships, Livingston, Michigan, at the north end of Thompson Lake.

    The date  and names of the persons in the photographs are unknown.

  • This is a picture of the Filkins Family Sandwich Grill, 121 West Grand River Avenue, Brighton, Michigan.  It was located  two blocks from hotel, and was operated by Ralph and Martha Filkins.

    The date of this photograph is unknown.  The restaurant was in operation in the 1940's.
  • This image was included in the 1st National Bank Calendar, and was titled, "Finley's Blacksmith Shop", a livery, Cohoctah Center, in Cohoctah Township, Livingston, Michigan.

    Cohoctah was then known as Sprungtown.
